Working out of our office in Raichur, Karnataka 584 101 is quite a different experience compared to being in a big city. We are Sterling Enginnering Consultancy Services Pvt Ltd, though we are often connected to the Bangalore office in name. Our daily routine is mostly about looking over technical plans and giving advice on various engineering problems. It is a quiet place most of the time. We have a small staff and we all sit in a shared room with several computers and plenty of paper. Raichur is known for being a bit hot, so we usually have the fans going full speed while we work on our designs. We don't have fancy office furniture or anything like that, just what is necessary to get the job done right. People come to us when they need a structural check or some technical guidance on their projects. It involves a lot of math and careful checking of measurements. We often spend our mornings replying to emails and the rest of the day is for the actual engineering tasks. Sometimes we go out to look at the project sites to see how the work is progressing in person. We try to be very practical in everything we do. It’s a steady job and we have built a bit of a name for ourselves locally by just doing honest work without much fuss or any unnecessary complications.
