We are based out in Jalahalli, in the Devadurga area of Raichur. Our address is Plot 43 in Appaveerappa Colony. It's quite different from being in the big city of Bangalore. Things move a bit slower here. We deal with rice. It’s the main thing we do. The area is surrounded by fields, so we are close to where everything grows. We have a small warehouse and a basic office. It’s a simple setup. South Gold is the name we use. We spend a lot of time checking the quality of the grains and making sure the bags are sealed right. It’s dusty work and can be quite tiring. The colony is a quiet place. Most people here know each other by name. We are an LLP, just a few partners working together. We don't have a lot of staff. We do most of the heavy lifting ourselves.
