Shree Umiya Farm

Our place is located in the Tungabhadra Complex, specifically at 584/784 on the Gangavathi Road in Sindhanur. It's a busy area with a lot of farmers coming and going throughout the week. We deal with things people need for their land and crops. It isn't a massive corporate office, just a practical space where we can talk about the season and what’s growing. The complex itself can get a bit crowded during the market days, but we like the energy of it. We spend most of our time looking at seeds, fertilizers, or whatever equipment needs fixing. Life in Sindhanur revolves around the soil, so we stay pretty busy depending on the rains. I usually have a stack of ledgers on my desk and a phone that doesn't stop ringing when planting season starts. It’s a lot of manual labor and keeping track of inventory in the back. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit outside the shop and talk to neighbors until it comes back on. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. People find us because they know the address or they saw our sign while driving down the road toward Gangavathi. It’s just a regular farm supply spot where we try to keep the shelves stocked with what matters most to the local growers. Most of the folks who come in are people we’ve known for years.
