Quilling Art Jewellery

It all started as a small hobby right here at H. No. 7- 1- 199. Ambika Nagar is a quiet neighborhood, and that's where we do all our quilling work. If you haven't seen it, quilling is just rolling up thin strips of paper to make shapes. It sounds easy, but it takes a lot of focus and a steady hand. My workspace is usually a mess of colorful paper scraps and little bottles of glue. I spend hours sitting at the table, just twisting and pinching paper. We don't have a big store with glass windows and bright lights. It’s just a house where we work. Sometimes the neighbors come by to see what we are making this week. We make all kinds of things like earrings and necklaces. Since it's all paper, it's very light to wear. People are usually surprised by how sturdy it is once the glue dries. We don't try to rush anything here. If a piece doesn't look right, we just toss it and start over. It's a slow process, but we enjoy the quiet of it. We’ve lived in Ambika Nagar for years, so everyone around here knows what we do. We aren't looking to become a huge company. We just like making these little pieces of art and seeing where they go. It keeps us busy and out of trouble.
