Navodaya Medical College

Navodaya Medical College is situated at Pb No.26 on Mantralayam Road in Raichur. The campus is out in Navodaya Nagar, which is a bit of a drive from the very center of town. Raichur is known for being quite warm, and our buildings definitely feel that sun during the middle of the day. We have been operating from this Mantralaya Road address for a long time. The office spaces are filled with old metal cupboards and stacks of files that go back years. It is a functional place where the focus is on getting the work done. You won't find any designer furniture or polished marble floors here. Instead, there are sturdy tables and chairs that have been moved around a hundred times. We keep the windows open when there is a breeze, but mostly we rely on the fans. Working in the 584103 area means we are part of the local community. We see the same faces at the local stalls and the same buses passing by every day. The routine is steady. We arrive, check what is pending, and try to get through the list before it is time to go. There is a lot of walking involved because the place is spread out, which keeps us on our feet. It is a simple, hardworking environment where everyone just tries to do their part without making a big fuss about it. It is just how life is here in Raichur.
