Megha Ceramics

Megha Ceramics is located in the Chandaligeshwara Complex on the ground floor. We are out on Raichur Road and the Lakshmi Temple is a very close landmark that most people use to find us. Being on the ground floor makes it a lot easier for us to move the heavy ceramic tiles in and out of the shop. Raichur Road is a long stretch and it gets quite dusty when the big trucks go flying past the complex. We spend a lot of time sweeping the floor because of all the grit that blows in from the street. The Chandaligeshwara Complex is a sturdy building and we have been here for a good while. Inside it is mostly just rows of tile samples and some ceramic fixtures leaning against the walls. We don't really do anything fancy with the display. It is just a place where you can see what is available and touch the different finishes. Near the Lakshmi Temple there is always some activity so it doesn't feel lonely even when the shop is quiet. We just sit near the entrance and wait for customers to stop by after they visit the temple or finish their work in town. It is a straightforward way to earn a living. We don't have any big missions or goals other than just selling the tiles we have in stock and keeping the shop running. It is just a normal daily routine on Raichur Road.
