Basix In Indian Grameen Services Igs

Basix is involved with the Indian Grameen Services (IGS) here in the Raichur district. You can find us in Belliganur, which is part of the Sindhanur Taluk. Specifically, we are located with Amaresh Sajjan near the Diddagi area. It is a very rural and local setting in Karnataka, which is exactly where we need to be for the kind of work we do. We are not in a big city with bright lights. Most of what we see out the window is the local countryside and the folks who live in the village. The office is very simple. It is just a place to keep our records and meet with people from the nearby posts. We do not have any corporate branding or expensive furniture. It is about the work, not the look of the office. We have been part of this community for a while, and people know where to find us. It is a long way from the big corporate hubs in Bangalore, but that suits us fine. We deal with real everyday issues and try to help where we can. There is no script for how we talk to people. We just use plain English or the local language. It is a quiet life here in Sindhanur, but we stay busy enough. We are just a local team doing our bit in Raichur without any fuss or big talk. We have been here for years and plan to stay. (252 words)
