Adhunik Switchgears (P) Ltd is located at 1700 in the HSIDC Industrial Estate in Rai. It’s a big industrial area and our unit is just one of many along the row. We’ve been operating out of this spot for a while now. The building is basically a large shed with a small office area built into the front. Inside, we have rows of components for switchgear assembly. It’s a busy place with people moving between different stations. We don’t have a fancy reception area; you basically walk right into the workspace. The walls are lined with tools and parts bins. We work regular shifts, usually starting quite early to avoid the worst of the afternoon heat in the warehouse. The team is small and everyone knows what needs to be done without much talk. We spend a lot of time checking the quality of the assemblies before they get packed into crates. The industrial estate has its own rhythm, with trucks coming in and out at all hours. We have a small break area with a kettle and some biscuits, which is where we usually spend our downtime. It’s not a polished environment, just a place where we do our technical work and try to stay organized. We focus on getting the orders out on time and making sure the inventory is tracked correctly on our old computer system. It’s just how we run things here.
