Suresh Farm

Out on Adavaram Road in the Ragigunta area is where you will find the farm. It is a quiet spot compared to the towns, which is how we like it. Running Suresh Farm takes up most of our hours from before the sun even comes up. There is always something that needs fixing, like a broken fence or a tool that’s seen better days. We grow things according to the seasons and look after the land the best way we know how. It is not a clean job; there is plenty of dirt and mud involved, especially when it rains heavy. We don't have any big office or a fancy website. Most of our business is just done right here on the dirt or by the gate. The cows and other animals don't care about what day it is, so we are out here every single day of the week. Sometimes the crops do well, and other times the weather just doesn't go our way. That is the nature of farming in Ragigunta. We have some old sheds where we keep the equipment and the seeds. It can get lonely out here sometimes, but there is always plenty of work to keep the mind occupied. We just keep our heads down and focus on the chores. It is a basic life, tied to the soil and the weather, and we have been doing it this way for a long time now. We just take things one day at a time.
