About Vindaswari Traders – Agriculture & Farming in Raebareli
If you ever come to the Ghanta Ghar area in Raebareli, you know how crowded it gets. Our shop, Vindaswari Traders, is right there at Shop No-169/3. We are very close to the Book Market, so there are always students and teachers walking around, especially in the afternoons. It’s a very old part of the city. The lanes are narrow and you can’t really bring a big car inside. We mostly deal with people who walk in or come on scooters. The shop is small and packed with stuff from floor to ceiling. Sometimes I can't even find where I put the stapler because there are so many boxes. We’ve been in this same spot for a long time. My uncle used to run it before me. We don't have a website or anything like that; we just open the shutter in the morning and wait for customers. The clock tower bell is something we hear all day long, so we don't even need to look at our watches. It’s noisy and there’s always someone shouting for more space on the road, but that’s the charm of Raebareli. We have a small stool for customers to sit on, but usually they just stand and chat while we look for their items. It’s just a basic trading business where we know most of the regulars by their first names. It gets a bit dark inside the shop, but we have a few bulbs that do the job.
