Spirax Coils

Spirax Coils is located in Industrial Area-1, on Sultanpur Road in Rae. Our unit is at K-6. It is a pretty basic setup where we focus on making coils. The work can be repetitive because you are doing a lot of winding, but you have to be careful with it. Our machines are older models. They aren't fancy, but they work just fine as long as we keep them oiled and maintained. The workshop is mostly one big open room with all the winding stations lined up in rows. We have a small yard out back where we store some of the raw materials and crates. It is usually quiet on our part of the road, especially compared to the busier parts of the city. Dust from the road is a bit of a constant problem, so we have to wipe things down a lot. Most of the people working here live in the nearby area and they just walk or ride their cycles to the gate every morning. We don't have a canteen, so we all just sit together and eat our lunch near the benches. Sometimes we have a delay getting the right wire delivered, but we usually stay busy. The boss has a small office by the front door where he handles the accounts. We don't have any glossy catalogs to show people. If someone wants to see what we do, they just come in and watch. It's a simple, small-scale manufacturing unit.
