Rastogi Pathology Clinic

Our small pathology clinic is located here in Rae Bareli, just a short walk from Pawan Namkeen Bhandar. If you are looking for us, you can usually smell the fried snacks from the shop next door while you wait for your turn. We spend our days mostly collecting blood samples and looking at slides under the microscope. The place is a bit cramped because we have a lot of glass vials and paperwork squeezed into the cabinets. It is not the most modern looking office you will ever see. The tiles on the floor have some cracks from years of people walking in, and the ceiling fan makes a bit of a clicking sound when it is on high speed. We just focus on getting the reports done as fast as we can. A lot of people come in early in the morning before they go to work. We try to keep the line moving, but sometimes the paperwork takes a while. It’s a simple setup where we know most of the people who come in by their first names. We don’t have any big posters or fancy signs outside. Just a small board so people know they have reached the right place. We stay busy with the local crowd and the doctors nearby who send people our way. It’s just a quiet, local lab where we do our bit every day without much fuss or noise.
