K. C. Co. Industrial Fragrance

Our place is at 557 Sheikh Warha, right in the heart of Qila Bazar. It's an old area and the building has seen better days, but it works for us. We handle industrial fragrances here. You can usually tell you're close because of the different scents drifting out into the street. It’s not a corporate setup at all. We have benches and old cupboards full of samples. The floor is concrete and we’ve got some fans to keep the air moving. Qila Bazar is always noisy, with carts and people moving about. We’ve been here long enough that we know almost everyone on the block. We don't have fancy titles or a big staff. It's just a few of us making sure the orders are filled correctly. Some of the drums we move are quite heavy. We spend a lot of time cleaning up spills and organizing the jugs. It’s a bit messy sometimes. We don't bother with marketing or anything like that. If someone needs a scent for their soap or cleaning products, they just come by and talk to us. We sit on plastic chairs and figure out what they need. It's practical work. The lighting is a bit dim in the back, but we know where everything is kept. It’s just how we do things. We’ve stayed in this spot because it's central and people know where to find us. We don’t need anything more complicated than this little shop in the bazaar.
