Dr Yashesh Anantani

Living and working in Raebareli is different from the big cities. Out here in Malik Mau, specifically in Jawahar Vihar Colony, things move at their own pace. I’ve been at B 23 for quite some time now. It's my home and also where I see people who need help. Usually, people just know where the house is because the colony isn't that big. Dr Yashesh Anantani is just the name on the plate outside, but inside, it’s just a regular setup. I spend a lot of my time talking to folks from the neighborhood. Some days are quieter than others, but there’s always someone stopping by with a question. The roads around here can get a bit dusty, and in the summer, it gets really hot, but we have a fan going and some chairs for people to wait. It’s not a shiny hospital with white walls and robots. It’s just a room with the basic stuff I need. I like being able to walk around the colony in the evenings and seeing the families I know. It makes the work feel more personal when you know the people you're helping. My family is around too, so it’s a bit of a mix of home life and work life. We don't have a receptionist or fancy computer systems. Just me and the records. That’s how we’ve always done it here in Raebareli, and it works fine for us.
