Our place is in RaeBareli, over at C 384 WV Indra Nagar. It is a quiet enough spot compared to the big cities like Lucknow or Kanpur. Tarifa Trading Private Limited was started by people who just wanted to trade goods without too much fuss or complicated systems. Awadh Bihari Singh is a name you might hear if you stop by the office. We deal with all sorts of things, basically whatever is in demand and whatever we can move quickly. The office is tucked into the residential-commercial mix of Indra Nagar. We do not have a big lobby with a fountain or a receptionist. It is just a few rooms with files stacked up and some people on their mobile phones all day long. RaeBareli has its own slow charm, and we try to match that pace. We are not looking to conquer the world; we just want to run a decent trading business. Sometimes we mess up the inventory counts and have to stay late to recount everything by hand using a torch.
