Smrat Tea

Smrat Tea is based out of Village Rajapur Mafi. Our post office is in Salon, and we are in the Rae Bareilly district, close to Beoli. Being in a village means things move a bit slower than in the city. We have a small facility where we process and pack tea. It’s not a high-tech operation. Most of the work is done by hand or with simple machines. We know everyone in the village, and many of them stop by just to chat or grab a small bag for their home. The road out here can be a bit rough, especially after the rains, which sometimes delays our shipments to other places. We don't have any marketing people or sales teams. It's just a few of us from the family and some neighbors who help out. We spend our days checking the moisture levels and making sure the bags are sealed right. It’s quiet out here, which we like. We don't use any fancy language to describe what we do. We just sell tea to people who want it. We have some old wooden benches outside where people sit sometimes. It’s a very basic setup, but it works for us. We've been doing this for a long time and don't plan on changing much about how we run things in the village.
