T. S. Travels

We are down here at 11/12 Shayama Complex, just a short walk from the Ghanta Ghar. It gets pretty loud outside with all the traffic and people moving around the clock tower, but we have been in this spot for a while now. Most days start with us opening up the shutters and getting the tea ready while we check the schedules. T. S. Travels isn't a big fancy operation. It is just a few of us sitting at our desks, handling bus bookings and figuring out car rentals for folks who need to get out of town. Sometimes the phones do not stop ringing and other times it is quiet enough to actually read the paper for a bit. We spend a lot of time talking to drivers and making sure they know where they are going. The office isn't anything special to look at, just some chairs and old maps on the wall, but it works for what we do. People come in looking for a way to get to the next city or just to ask about prices for a weekend trip. We try to keep everything straight so there aren't any mix-ups with the dates. It can be a bit of a headache when the weather is bad or the roads are blocked, but that is just how it goes in this business. We have seen the neighborhood change a bit over the years, yet the clock tower stays the same. If you are near the complex, you will see our sign.
