Akash Garments

We have been set up here at Nighoa Railway Station for a while now. Running Akash Garments is what we do every single day. It is a pretty small shop, but we try to keep a good stock of the clothes that people around here actually need. Most of our customers are folks just getting off the train or waiting for the next one to head out. It gets quite busy during certain parts of the morning and evening, especially when the main commuter trains arrive. We spend most of our time unpacking new boxes and making sure everything is folded and put on the shelves where it belongs. Sometimes the dust from the tracks outside comes into the shop, so we are always cleaning up. It isn’t a fancy place with bright lights or anything like that. It is just us here near the station. We’ve come to know some of the regular commuters over the years. They often poke their heads in to see if we have anything new or just to say a quick hello before their train comes. Working here means seeing a lot of different faces passing through Nighoa. We handle the clothes, check the stock, and try to keep the space looking decent for anyone walking in. It is a lot of manual work, and we don’t have a big team. We just open up early, stay through the day, and close when it gets quiet.
