We are out here in Mohari Kala, specifically at Kunwar Bahadur Kheda in Sikandarpur Amaulia. If you look for Keemat Singh’s place, you will find us. We do a mix of things like designing and building. It is a busy office most days with a lot of papers scattered around and people coming in to talk about their house plans. The roads around here can get a bit dusty when the wind picks up, but that is just how it is in this part of the world. We started this because there was a need for local folks who actually know how to get things done on the ground. It is not always easy work. Sometimes the supplies don't show up on time or the weather messes with the schedule. But we keep at it. Most of our time is spent looking at site maps or talking to workers about where the walls should go. We don't have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. Just a few desks, some chairs, and a lot of tea going around while we figure out the next steps for a project. It’s a bit noisy with the construction talk and phones ringing, but we like it that way. We just focus on the drawings and the bricks. It’s a practical business run by local people who live and work right here in this community every single day. We know the neighbors and the local terrain well.
