B. K. Cement Pipe Mfg. Co.

Our place, B. K. Cement Pipe Mfg. Co., is located at C-19 and 20 in the Industrial Area-Ii on Amawa Road. We spend our days making cement pipes for all kinds of uses. It’s an industrial setting, so it’s not exactly quiet or clean. There is the constant sound of the machinery and the smell of wet concrete. We have a good amount of space here, which is necessary because the pipes we make are heavy and take up a lot of room while they cure. Amawa Road is a busy stretch with lots of trucks and other factories nearby. We’ve been operating out of these units for years. We don't have a front office with a receptionist. Usually, we are out in the shed or the yard, covered in dust and working with the molds. It’s physical work that requires a lot of patience. You can’t rush cement. If it doesn’t set right, the pipe won't be strong enough. We deal mostly with contractors and local builders who need reliable pipes for drainage or water lines. They know where to find us. We don't bother with fancy brochures or marketing. People just come to us because they know we've been doing this for a long time. The summers are the hardest because the heat in the industrial area can be intense. We just keep our heads down and get the orders finished as promised.
