Our place is over in the M.I.D.C area in Rabale. Specifically, W-47/A on Plot-5. Shekhar Glass Fiber Pvt. Ltd. has been operating out of this T.T.C Ind. Area for quite some time now. Dealing with glass fiber is messy work, honestly. You get it on your clothes and it stays there. The workshop is big enough for what we do, but we’re always shuffling things around to make room for new molds. Rabale is a busy industrial hub, so there’s always trucks coming and going. We don’t have a big front office with a receptionist. Usually, if someone comes by, they have to shout over the fans to get our attention. We make various fiber products. Some days are better than others, depending on how the resin sets. The heat in the summer makes it dry faster, which can be a pain. We just do the work that comes in. Most of the staff live nearby, so we're a local crew. We aren't looking to expand into some giant corporation. We like the size we are. It’s manageable. We keep the machines running and try to stay on top of the maintenance. It's just a regular factory doing its thing every day. Nothing too special to report, just consistent work. The tea stall down the road is where we usually go for our morning break. It gives us a chance to step away from the fiber dust for fifteen minutes. Then it’s back to the molds until the shift ends.
