Our office is at Number 41 on Edayar Street, right in the heart of R.S. Puram. It is a busy area, so there is always some noise from the street coming through the windows. The building we are in is quite old and doesn't have an elevator, so we get our daily exercise going up and down the stairs. Inside, the rooms are filled with the usual stuff you’d expect for an import-export business. There are stacks of files, sample boxes from different places, and a couple of old desks that have been with us since we started. We don’t have a big sign outside or a fancy lobby with a receptionist. Usually, if the door is open, you can just walk in and find one of us buried under some paperwork or talking on the phone. The neighborhood is great because everything is close by, though finding a spot to park a scooter can be a real struggle sometimes. We usually have a few cups of coffee throughout the day to keep us going, especially when we are waiting for news on a shipment. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, and one of the fans makes a clicking sound, but it doesn't bother us much. It is just a practical place to work. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a polished office; we just want to get the daily tasks finished and go home.
