Our place is Vidyuth Control Systems Pvt. Ltd. --unitii, and you can find us over at Petbasheerabad in RR District. A Sarath Babu is the person who runs things at this location, which is Plot No 22 in the Ncl Enclave. It’s a bit of a trek to get out here with the traffic, but it’s a good spot for what we do. We mostly work with electrical panels and control systems. The workshop is usually full of copper wire and different tools. We spend a lot of time hunched over tables soldering things or looking at drawings. It’s quiet work mostly, except for the sound of a drill now and then. We have a small team here and everyone knows their job. We don’t have much in the way of decoration, just some old calendars and diagrams pinned to the walls. The tea guy comes by at eleven and four, and that’s a highlight for most of us. We try to keep things organized, but when a big order comes in, the boxes start stacking up near the door. We handle the local requests and sometimes orders from further out. It’s just a regular business with no big corporate suits around. We wear our work shirts and boots. If you call, Sarath or one of the guys will pick up the phone directly. We don’t have an automated menu. It’s just us doing the work every day.
