Our place at 28-9-74 in Venkatraya Nagar is right in the middle of things. Nizampet has changed a lot lately, but we are still here doing what we do. The India Cement Ltd. is just the name on the front, but inside it’s just a bunch of us handling orders and making sure the supplies are where they need to be. There’s a lot of traffic nearby, so mornings are usually pretty loud with horns and people rushing to work. We have a decent amount of space for the inventory, though it feels a bit cramped when a big delivery arrives at the same time as a customer. The neighbors know us well enough by now. It isn't a flashy office or anything, just some desks and the storage area. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking the stacks. Sometimes the weather makes things a bit messy, especially during the rains when the road outside gets muddy. We try to keep the dust down as much as possible, but that's hard with cement. It’s a steady kind of life here. You get used to the rhythm of the neighborhood after a while. We aren't trying to impress anyone, just keeping the business running and helping out the people who come by looking for materials for their houses. It’s a simple setup at Venkatraya Nagar for a simple team.
