Chitra Photo Studio

I started Chitra Photo Studio at H No 8-102 in Sai Colony because I always liked taking pictures of people. It is not a very big shop but we have enough space for the camera and a few chairs for people to wait. Chintalquthbullapur is a busy place now and many people come in for their identity card photos or school admissions. We have been in this spot for a long time. The walls are painted a simple white and we have some old frames hanging up to show what we can do. Sometimes the camera battery dies right when we are busy and we have to wait a bit. It’s just me and my brother usually. We don't have any fancy machines but the ones we have work fine for what we need. People from the colony come by just to chat sometimes even if they don't need a photo. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons because the sun hits the front door directly. We have a small cooler but it's noisy. We try to keep things organized but there are always bits of paper and old receipts on the desk. It is a simple life and we like being part of the neighborhood here. Most days we open at ten and stay until the street lights come on. It’s just how things go. We know almost everyone who walks past our door every single day.
