Nano Furnitures

We’re located at D. No. 92 Veerannan Street in Puthupalayam, just off Thondamuthur Road. If you walk down the street, you’ll probably hear the sound of sawing or see some sawdust on the ground near our entrance. We make and sell furniture right here. It’s a mix of a workshop and a small showroom area. The smell of fresh wood and varnish is always strong, which we don't mind anymore. We have some chairs and tables lined up, but most of what we do is custom work for people who live in the neighborhood. It’s a dusty job and our clothes are usually covered in it by the end of the day. The space is a bit dark because we don't have many windows, but we use portable lamps when we’re working on something detailed or small. We’ve been on Veerannan Street for quite a while now. People know they can come to us if a chair leg breaks or if they need a simple wooden cupboard. We don't use big industrial machines, just mostly hand tools and a few power ones that we’ve had for years. It’s a slow process sometimes, but that’s just how it goes when you’re working with wood. Nano Furnitures is just a local spot where we build things that last for a long time. It’s hard work but it keeps our hands busy and the days moving along at a good pace.
