Shree Travels Pushkar

You can find us right near the ICICI Bank in Pushkar. It’s a busy little spot, especially when the pilgrims and tourists start coming in during the festival seasons. Shree Travels Pushkar has been sitting here for a good while. I usually sit out front on a stool when it's not too hot, just watching the crowds go by on the main road. We have a couple of cars and a van that we keep parked nearby. It isn't a big corporate travel agency with shiny brochures or a fancy lobby. Most of our business comes from people walking up and asking how much it costs to get to the next town or out to the desert. I grew up here in Pushkar, so I know the roads around here better than I know my own house. We don't have a mission statement or anything. We just try to get people where they need to go without any trouble. Sometimes the traffic in the narrow streets is a total nightmare, but we manage to get through it. If the cars aren't out on a trip, I’m usually cleaning them or checking the oil and tires. My nephew helps me with the bookings on his phone when things get busy. It’s a simple life. We like meeting the people who come to visit the lake and the temples. If you’re ever near the bank and need a ride or just want to know the best way to get to the station, just stop by.
