Out here in Parbelia Colliery, things move a bit slower than in the big cities. We’re located in the New Colony, specifically at 7/46 in Purulia. Planet M Retail Ltd has been operating from this spot for a bit, and it’s mostly just us handling the daily retail tasks. Being in West Bengal, the weather changes quite a bit, so some days we’re dealing with heavy rain and other days it’s just the dust from the roads. The shop itself is simple. We don’t have any fancy displays or loud music playing. We just set up the items and wait for the locals to come by. A lot of the people who live in the colony work nearby, so we get to know them pretty well. It’s not a massive place, but we manage to fit everything we need inside. Sometimes the delivery trucks take a while to reach us because of the roads, but we make do. We’ve had to fix the door a couple of times because it gets stuck in the humidity, but that’s just how it goes. People around here appreciate that we’re consistent and always open when we say we will be. We aren't trying to be the biggest store out there, just a reliable place for the folks in Purulia. It’s a decent living and we like the community vibe in this part of 723121.
