Gammon India Limited

Our spot is in Amlapapra, which is right in the heart of Purulia. If you know the area, we are quite close to the UBI Regional Office. That is usually the landmark we give people when they are trying to find us. Shri Ashok Chatterjee is the main point of contact here at this Gammon India Limited location. It is a bit of a traditional setup in West Bengal. The streets around here have their own character, especially during the festival seasons. We have the 723101 pin code, and it feels like a very local place to work. It’s not like those big city offices in Kolkata or anything. We deal with the heat in the summer and the rains in July just like everyone else in the district. The office itself is functional. We have what we need to stay on top of the projects. People walk by on their way to the bank or the post office all day long. We have been part of the landscape in Amlapapra for a good bit now. It is quiet some days and really noisy on others. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing. There isn't much to say other than we are a local branch trying to stay organized. We know the neighbors and they know us.
