Our shop is located in Building B-1 within the local industrial estate here in Gurdaspur. You can find us pretty easily because we are quite close to the police station. It's a busy part of town, especially in the mornings when everyone is heading into their units. Nirman Founder And Engineers isn't a huge operation, but we stay busy with the casting and engineering work that comes our way. The building itself has seen better days, but it serves its purpose for what we do. We’ve got the furnaces and the tools all set up in the main hall. Usually, you’ll find the floors covered in some level of dust or metal shavings, which is just part of the life of a founder. We don't really have a front desk person, so if you come by, you might have to shout over the machines to get someone’s attention. Most of our guys live nearby, so we’re a pretty tight-knit group. We take on whatever engineering jobs the local businesses need. It’s not the kind of place where you’d wear a suit. We wear boots and work shirts because the grease gets everywhere. We just focus on getting the parts made and sent out the door. Sometimes the power goes out in the estate, and we just sit outside and wait for it to come back. That's just how it is working in Gurdaspur.
