Mehta Enterprises

We're situated right near the Anayara Ajeet Cinema Hall. It’s a pretty well-known spot, so most people don't have trouble finding Mehta Enterprises. The cinema brings a lot of people to this area, especially in the evenings, which makes the street quite lively. Our building is just a short walk from the main entrance of the hall. It’s not a very big place, just enough room for our inventory and a small corner where we do the paperwork. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re usually too busy to get around to it. We've been here for several years now. It started small and stayed that way, which is fine by us. We know the local shopkeepers and the folks who run the cinema. Sometimes the music from the movies drifts over during the day. It’s a simple operation. We don’t have any fancy titles or a big management structure. It’s just us doing the daily tasks. If someone calls, we answer. If someone walks in, we talk to them. We don’t go for all those modern marketing tricks. We just show up every morning, open the shutters, and see what the day brings. It’s a decent living and we like being part of this neighborhood. The tea stall around the corner is where we usually end up for breaks when things get slow. It’s a relaxed way to run a business.
