Arpita Stone Crushing

Arpita Stone Crushing is out in the village of Deuli, which falls under the Santaldih police station in the Para block. It’s a dusty place to work, as you might imagine with stone crushing. We spend our days around the machines, making sure everything is running like it should. The noise is something you eventually get used to, though it’s pretty loud for anyone just passing through Deuli. Most of the people working here are from around the village or nearby areas. We start work early, often before the heat of the day really kicks in. The yard is always full of piles of stones of different sizes, and there is a constant flow of tractors and trucks coming in and out. It’s hard, physical work, and our clothes usually show it by the end of the shift. We don’t have a fancy office; it’s more of a small shed where we keep the registers and take a break when we can. The Para block is a quiet area otherwise, but our corner of Deuli is always humming. We don't use big words or have fancy meetings; we just focus on getting the stone crushed and loaded. Sometimes the machinery breaks down, and we have to spend the afternoon getting our hands greasy to fix it. That's just how life is at the crusher. If you come by, you’ll see us covered in gray dust from head to toe. It’s a tough environment, but it’s what we do here in the Para block. We don't have time for fancy talk.
