Super Smelters Ltd has a place at Argara Chowk in the Shanti Nagar area of Madhubani, Purnia, over in Bihar. It is a busy junction, so there is always a lot of dust and noise from the passing trucks and rickshaws. We set up here because it is a good spot for catching the transport routes that move through the state. The office is a simple one-story structure with a few rooms where we handle the paperwork for the smelting operations. It is not the most modern place, and the electricity can be a bit temperamental, especially during the monsoon season when the rains get heavy. We spend our days tracking shipments and talking to the local contractors. Shanti Nagar is a lively neighborhood, so there is always someone dropping by for a chat or to ask about work. We keep things pretty informal here. There are no fancy uniforms or polished reception desks, just a bunch of people working hard to make sure the steel gets to where it needs to go. Sometimes the heat in Purnia can be a bit much, but we have a few old coolers that keep the air moving.
