Riddhi Siddhi Hatchery

Riddhi Siddhi Hatchery is located out in Gulabh Bagh, specifically in Wad No.1 near Bata Bazar in Pumia. If you are familiar with the area, you know it’s a place where people are always on the move. We deal with chicks and poultry, so the place is never quiet. There is always the sound of birds and the smell of feed in the air. We start our days very early, often before the sun is fully up, because that’s when the farmers like to come by. The shop is more of a functional space than anything else. We have big bags of grain stacked against the walls and various supplies for bird health. It can get quite dusty, especially when we are moving the bags around. We spend a lot of time talking to local folks about their flocks and how things are going on their farms. It’s hard work and your hands definitely get dirty. Sometimes the heat in Pumia is a bit much, but we have high ceilings that help a bit. We don't use any fancy computer systems; most of our notes are kept in a thick diary on the main desk. People know they can just drop by and see what we have available. It’s a practical business for a practical community. We’ve been here in Bata Bazar for a good while and we know the local needs pretty well after all this time.
