This institute is right on NH 66 in the Amouna area of Purnia. Being near the highway means there is always a bit of a rumble from the trucks passing by throughout the day. At the Institute Of Health & Hygiene Science, we have a lot of students coming in from the surrounding parts of Bihar to attend their classes. The building itself is pretty straightforward, nothing too decorative, just classrooms with whiteboards and some charts on the walls about anatomy and cleaning. We spend a lot of time cleaning the floors ourselves because hygiene is in the name after all. It gets dusty being so close to the road, so someone is always sweeping. The office has stacks of files that never seem to get smaller, and the phone rings more often than we would like. We try to keep things organized but sometimes things get a bit chaotic when everyone is trying to sign in at the same time. The staff here mostly just talks about the daily lessons and who is coming in for the next training session. It is a practical place. We do not have fancy lounges or anything like that. People come here, do their work, and then head home. If you are looking for us, we are at 854316, just off the main road. It is easy to find if you keep an eye out for the sign near the gate.
