ARARIA GRAMIN NIDHI LIMITED

Our small office is in Phulpur Purwari Tola, which is in the Jokihat area of Araria. We are operating out of Omprasad Viswas’s place. It is a local spot in the village that most people can find easily enough if they ask around. ARARIA GRAMIN NIDHI LIMITED is basically a group of us from the neighborhood who wanted to make savings easier for the village folks. We are located in the Purwari Panch Chirah area. The office isn't much to look at, just a room with some registers and a couple of chairs for visitors. We do not use big words or complicated processes. People come in, we talk, and we help them with their small savings or loans. It is very much a local thing. Being in Araria, we deal with the local climate and the pace of life here. Some days are slow, especially when it is harvest time and everyone is out in the fields. Other days, we have a lot of people coming in to check their balances or make a deposit. We do our best to keep accurate records and make sure everyone is treated fairly. We are not a big bank with uniforms and security guards. We are just your neighbors working in a small room. Most people stop by for a chat while they are doing their business. It makes the work feel like a part of the daily life in the village.
