Vedanta Aluminium Limited

Out here on Chakratirtha Road in Puri, things feel a bit different than the big city offices. We are working under the Vedanta Aluminium Limited name but focusing on the university project through the Anil Agarwal Foundation. It’s a big undertaking and the location is quite something, being so close to the coast and the spiritual heart of the town. You can often smell the salt in the air when the wind blows right. The building isn’t anything too special, just a place to keep the project moving forward and manage the local needs. We have people coming in and out all day, some related to the construction and others just checking on the progress. It’s dusty work sometimes, and the Orissa sun doesn't show much mercy in the summer months. We keep a lot of water around and try to stay organized despite the heat. The road outside can get pretty busy with tourists and pilgrims, especially during the big festival seasons, so we have to plan our meetings around that. It’s a practical office for a big goal. We don’t have fancy rugs or expensive art on the walls. It’s mostly maps, blueprints, and lists of things that need to get done by the end of the week. We just keep our heads down and do the work that’s expected of us. It’s a long road ahead with this project but we are here every day.
