Tribe Tours

Tribe Tours is located along Chakratirtha Road in Puri. We are also quite close to the station area, so it's a convenient spot for anyone visiting the city. This part of town is usually full of travelers. We started this because we liked talking to people and helping them see the sights around Orissa. It is a small office, nothing too fancy. We have some wooden furniture and a few photos of the local landmarks on the walls. We mostly arrange local tours and help with transport. It’s not a polished operation. We just do things the way we’ve always done them. Sometimes we sit outside on the steps when it’s not too hot and talk to the neighbors. The salt air from the sea reaches us here, which is nice. We don't use a lot of marketing talk. We just tell people where the good spots are and how to get there. It’s mostly just me and a couple of guys who drive the cars. We keep track of everything in a notebook because it's easier than relying on the computer all the time. If someone is looking for a way to get around Puri without a lot of fuss, they usually find their way to us. We’ve been here long enough that most people in the neighborhood know where we are.
