Sudarshan Crafts Museum

We have been located on Station Road for a long time now. This place is more of a collection than a typical store. We have all these different handmade items and traditional crafts packed into the space. If you walk down the road, you can’t miss us. It’s a bit dusty sometimes because of all the wood and stone work we keep, but that is just how it is with these types of things. We don't really do big advertisements. Most people just wander in because they saw something in the window or they heard about us from a neighbor. It’s a family-run kind of thing. My uncle started it and now we just keep the doors open every day. We spend a lot of time cleaning the glass cases and moving things around to make room for new pieces that come in from the villages. It is not a shiny museum like the ones in the big cities. It is just a local spot where you can see what people can make with their hands. Sometimes we sit out front when it’s quiet and watch the people going to the station. Station Road is always moving, but inside here, things feel a lot slower. We like it that way. If you want to see some old-style work or just curious about what’s on the shelves, you can just step in and take a look around for as long as you want.
