Shree Jagannath Touring Center

Our place, Shree Jagannath Touring Center, is right on Station Road in Puri. It’s one of those busy streets where something is always happening. We are located in a spot that is easy for people coming off the trains to find. We have been here quite a while. The office isn't very large, but we make it work. We have some old benches for people to wait on and a desk where we handle the bookings. It’s mostly family-run. We help with car rentals and planning local sightseeing trips around the temples and the beach. We don't go in for any of that corporate style. We just speak plain English and try to be useful. Sometimes we have to explain things twice because the street noise is so loud outside. There are always tea sellers and rickshaws nearby, so there’s a lot of energy around the office. We don’t have a website or any of that fancy stuff. Most people find us by just walking past or because they stayed at a hotel nearby. We just keep our logs in a big diary and check the train schedules on the wall. It is a very hands-on way to work. We like being in the middle of everything on Station Road. It keeps us busy and we get to meet a lot of different people every day.
