Roy Travels

Roy Travels is tucked away on Balisahi Main Road, which is part of the Swargadwar area in Puri. It’s a very old part of town with narrow streets and lots of history. We’ve been operating from here for a good while. The office isn't anything special to look at, just a door and some windows on the main road. Most of our day is spent talking to people about where they need to go. We deal with cars and drivers mostly. It gets very crowded on Balisahi Main Road, especially during the big festivals when everyone is trying to get toward the temple or the beach. We’ve learned to work around the crowds and the noise. We aren't a big corporation with departments and managers. It’s just us here, taking calls and writing down bookings in our ledgers. We prefer it that way because it keeps things honest. We know the drivers by name and we know which cars are the most reliable for long trips across Orissa. Sometimes things go wrong, like a flat tire or a late arrival, and we just deal with it as best as we can. It’s a real business run by real people who know the local streets. We don't promise anything we can't actually do. We just stay open, do our work, and head home when the sun goes down. It’s a simple life.
