Raju Enterprises

At Raju Enterprises, we are lucky enough to be right by the water. You can find us on Sea Beach Road, near the New Marine Drive area. We are located quite close to Hotel Bangalaxmi. Being this close to the beach means we get a lot of sand blowing into the shop, but we also get a nice breeze now and then. We handle a variety of supplies for the local area. It’s a mix of things that the hotels need and items for the people living nearby. My brother and I started this business a while back and it’s been growing slowly ever since. It’s not a high-pressure environment. Things move a bit slower here by the sea. We spend our mornings checking the inventory and the afternoons talking to whoever walks in. We don't have any fancy marketing materials or a polished sales pitch. We just tell people what we have and what it costs. It’s a simple way of doing things, but it works for us. We’ve seen the area around Hotel Bangalaxmi change a lot with more tourists coming in, but we still focus on our regular customers. It’s a good life being by the beach and we wouldn't want to be anywhere else. We are usually here six days a week, unless the weather is really bad.
