Omm Namah Sibaya Travels

You can find us at Balagandi Chhaka, right on the Grand Road. It’s a prime spot in Puri because everything happens on this road. We run Omm Namah Sibaya Travels from a small space here. Mostly, we arrange vehicles for tourists who want to see the sights. Whether it's a quick trip to the beach or a full day out in Konark, we have drivers ready to go. We've been doing this for a long time. The office is nothing special, just a desk, some chairs, and a lot of keys. We spend most of our time on the phone or talking to people who walk in off the street. Puri gets very crowded during the Rath Yatra, and those days are exhausting for us, but we keep the cars moving. We don't use big words or make huge promises. If we have a car available, we tell you. If we don't, we tell you that too. The drivers are local guys who know all the shortcuts when the main road gets blocked. We try to keep the vehicles tidy, though the sea air and sand make it a bit of a struggle. It’s a busy life at Balagandi Chhaka, with all the rickshaws and buses going past. We're just part of the local scene here, trying to earn a living by helping people get from one place to another.
