N.N.Mukherjee

The office for N.N.Mukherjee is actually located right at the B.N.R Hotel here in Puri. You can find us on C.T Road, which is always humming with activity. Being based at the hotel means we are around people all the time, mostly folks who are visiting from out of town. The building itself has a lot of history, and we like being part of that old-school atmosphere. Our workspace is fairly simple, with just the basic things we need to keep things moving along. We’ve been operating from this spot for quite a few years, so we’ve seen the area change quite a bit. The weather in Puri can be tough on the buildings, so there’s always some maintenance to do around the office. We spend a lot of our time coordinating things and making sure the transport side of things is handled properly. It isn't a high-pressure environment; we prefer to take things as they come and handle issues one by one. Many of the people who work at the hotel are like friends to us now. We share news and talk about the local events while we work. It’s a steady kind of life, and we are happy with where we are situated. The breeze from the ocean sometimes reaches us here, which is nice during the summer months. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing every day without making a big deal of it.
