Niranjan Arts

Niranjan Arts is situated inside the Sahu Super Bazar at Balagandi Chhak. Since we are near the Mausi Maa Mandir in Puri, there are always people around, especially during festival times. The bazaar is a crowded place with all sorts of smells and sounds. Our shop is just one of many, but we have our own little corner. It’s usually packed with canvases, frames, and tubes of paint. There isn't much room to move around once a few people are inside. We like the energy of the temple area, even if it gets a bit overwhelming on busy days. We've been here for quite some time now, and the walls are covered with old sketches and notes we’ve pinned up. The floor is old stone and always has a bit of sand on it from the Puri breeze. We don't have a fancy display window. Most of what we do is just sitting there on the benches for anyone to see. We spend a lot of time chatting with the neighbors or people visiting the temple who wander in by mistake. It’s a very laid-back environment. We work at our own pace and don't worry too much about having everything perfectly organized. It’s just how we operate.
