M/S.Trishakti Tour & Travels

Our office is over on Station Road in Puri. Being near the station means we see a lot of people coming and going every day. M/S.Trishakti Tour & Travels has been around for a bit now. We mostly help pilgrims and tourists who just got off the train and need to figure out where they are going. It’s a simple setup. We have a few chairs for people to sit while we talk about travel options. The road outside is always busy with rickshaws and people carrying bags. It gets pretty dusty in the summer, but we keep the fan going. We aren't trying to be some big national company. We just know this part of Orissa really well. If someone wants to see the temples or go down to the beach, we can help arrange a vehicle. My nephew helps me with the bookings on the computer. Sometimes the phone doesn't stop ringing, and other times it's quiet enough to read the newspaper. We don't have any fancy brochures. We just tell people what we know. Most of our customers are families visiting for the first time. We try to be helpful without making things too complicated. It’s just a normal business on a normal street. We show up every morning, open the shutters, and get to work. That’s how we like it.
