M/S. N. N. Mukherjee & Sons

Our place, M/S. N. N. Mukherjee & Sons, is right on Station Road in Puri. We are located where C T Road meets the station area, zip code 752002. It is an old part of town and we have been here longer than most of the newer shops. The name on the sign is a bit long, but most people just know us as the guys near the station. The building is a bit older, with thick walls that keep out some of the midday heat. We do not have any flashy lights or big advertisements out front to pull people in. People find us because they are walking to or from the train station. It is a noisy spot with all the rickshaws and people shouting, but it feels like home to us. We handle a lot of different things, mostly just helping people navigate their way through Orissa. Station Road is always full of life, no matter what time it is. We drink a lot of chai and talk to the neighbors while we wait for the next train to pull in. It is a family-run kind of thing, passed down through the years. We do not try to be anything we are not. We just keep the books straight and make sure we are here when someone needs us. The 752002 area is where we live and work, so we know every corner.
