Mmm Seafood Exports Private Limited is basically run out of a small space over at Bishnupriya Appartment in Jayadev Vihar. The unit number is C/O-6/D2 if you ever find yourself looking for the place. We have been involved in the seafood trade for a bit now, and this apartment has been our main base of operations. It’s not a huge warehouse or anything like that, more of a spot where we manage all the coordination and the tricky parts of exporting fish and other things from the sea. Jayadev Vihar is a busy area, which keeps us on our toes. We spend a lot of our time on the phone talking to suppliers and checking on the status of our shipments. Since we deal with seafood, timing is pretty much everything, so things can get a little stressful when there are delays. We aren't a massive corporation with hundreds of employees; it’s just a few of us making sure the quality stays consistent. Sometimes we are working late into the night because of the different time zones our buyers are in. It’s a lot of work, but we like the pace of it. Being tucked away in an apartment building means we don't have to deal with the noise of the main road too much. We just focus on our boxes and our lists to make sure nothing gets left behind. It is hard work but it pays the bills.
