Krishna Art & Crafts

Krishna Art & Crafts is situated out in Nayak Patna, which is part of the Chandanpur area. We are very close to Raghuraj Pur, a place many people know for its traditional work. Our workshop and shop are in a quieter part of the district compared to the main city of Puri. It’s a lot more peaceful here, with more trees and a bit more space to breathe. We spend our days working with our hands, making things that have been done in this region for generations. The building is a simple structure where we keep all our tools and the finished pieces. There is usually a bit of dust from the materials we use, but that’s just part of the craft. We don't have a fancy showroom with glass cases. Everything is just laid out on tables or shelves for people to see. People who come to visit us usually have to make a bit of a trip out here, but they seem to enjoy the drive through the countryside. We like talking to visitors about how things are made, even if our English isn't perfect. It’s a family business, and even the younger ones help out when they aren't in school. We don't worry about being a big company. We just want to keep making our art and living our lives in Nayak Patna. It’s a slow pace of life, but it suits us well and keeps us busy.
