Himalaya Food Line

Himalaya Food Line is set up over in Nathupura Samantarapur, right near where the Daya River flows. If you know the area, we aren’t too far from the Dhauli Chhak Road, which stays pretty busy most of the time. Working here means you get used to the sound of the water and the trucks passing by. Our place handles food products, so there is always a lot of loading and unloading going on throughout the day. The building is just a standard concrete structure, nothing that would win an award for looks, but it gets the job done for us. There’s usually a bit of a breeze coming off the river, which helps when the Odisha sun gets really hot in the middle of the afternoon. We don’t have a fancy reception or anything, just a few desks and a lot of space for the goods. Sometimes the delivery drivers get a bit lost looking for us because the roads around Samantarapur can be a bit confusing if you aren’t from around here. We just spend our hours checking lists and making sure the crates are stacked right. It’s a lot of manual work and keeping track of dates. People around here know us as the local spot for food supplies. It’s a plain business, run by regular people who just want to get through the day’s work without too much trouble. We just stay busy with the food shipments and keeping things moving along.
